How it works

You train it. It answers in 2 seconds.

Ghost's answers come from what you teach it. Here is how training works, how fast the answers arrive on the call, and what Ghost does after the call and before the next one.

Training

Teach Ghost your product. Watch it get sharper.

Ghost starts with your industry's objections and competitors. Everything about your own product comes from what you teach it, so the answers are yours, with a source you can check.

1

Teach it

Give Ghost your website, product docs, a deck, a battlecard, a competitor's site or a folder of files. Ghost reads them, and with an AI on it drafts answer cards: talk tracks, objections, competitor answers and security answers.

2

Check it

Anything Ghost can't stand behind is marked [CONFIRM] for you to fix. Test Ghost in Settings runs the questions buyers in your market ask against what you taught, without the AI, and marks the ones with no clear source.

3

Correct it once

When an answer is off, press Not quite and type what you'd say. Ghost saves it on your computer as your own answer, trusts it over every other source, and answers that way on every call after.

On the Team plan, what one rep teaches Ghost, the whole team's Ghost knows.

During the call

Ghost answers while the buyer is still talking.

The pushback you hear every week shows up before the buyer finishes the sentence. The technical question comes back from what you taught Ghost seconds after they ask.

Dana, platform lead, says

"Honestly, this looks too expensive next to what we pay now."

Ghost hears "too expensive" and the card is on your screen with words still to come.
Price objectionSay: Fair. Compared to what, exactly: the license, or the license plus the time your team spends keeping the current setup running? Avoid: Do not discount on the first push. Do not invent hour savings; ask them to estimate. From the DevOps and developer tools pack, free with Ghost

Then Dana asks

"Does our state go to your cloud?"

Ghost searches what you taught it and writes the answer in words you can say.
GhostNo. Runners deploy into their VPC and state stays in their S3 bucket. Ask how many accounts they manage today. From docs.stackyard.dev, Self-hosted runners

Example product and buyer: Stackyard and Northwind are made up. Times are medians from Ghost's latency test, measured from when the buyer stops talking. On a Windows PC with an NVIDIA RTX 4090, cards show 1.5 s before and answers 1.4 s after. On a Mac or a PC without one, cards show 1.2 s before and answers 2.1 s after.

Re: Northwind and StackyardDraft, in Gmail

Hi Dana, thanks for the time today. As promised: runners deploy into your VPC and your state stays in your own S3 bucket. Next step is a pilot on two of your accounts. Does Thursday at 10 work to scope it?

After the call

Hang up and get straight to work.

The transcript is ready. No processing.

Ghost writes the transcript live, on your computer, while you talk. The moment a saved call ends you can search it, copy a quote or ask Ghost about it. Nothing to upload, nothing to wait for.

The follow-up is already in your drafts.

For a saved call, Ghost writes the summary and next steps and puts the follow-up email in your Gmail drafts, for you to read and send.

End the day at Calendar Zero.

Ghost reads your calendar and your CRM, writes a briefing for every meeting with people outside your company, and steps back when the day is done.

Northwind introFrom Google Calendar and HubSpot

Top three

  • 40 AWS accounts moving to OpenTofu
  • Forgekit renewal is in March
  • Dana signs, Sam evaluates

Where it stands

Qualified to buy, from HubSpot. Last touch: an email from Dana on Oct 21.

Who's in the room

  • Dana Reyes, VP Platform: owns the budget LinkedIn
  • Sam Ortiz, Staff Engineer: ran the Forgekit trial LinkedIn (likely match)

Questions they may ask

  • Can we keep our Terraform state? Yes, it migrates as is.
  • How long is a pilot? Two accounts, two weeks.

Briefings come from Google Calendar plus HubSpot, on every plan. Each guest's LinkedIn link comes from your CRM when it has one; otherwise Ghost looks for a likely match on the web, never on LinkedIn itself. The transcript is ready the moment you hang up, and the follow-up is waiting in your Gmail drafts.

Ghost and meeting notetakers do different jobs.

A notetaker records the call and tells you what happened. Ghost helps you answer while it's happening, from what you trained it on.
